It was a big project to create an environment based on Angkor Wat photo-reference pack - https://www.fotoref.com/products/angkor-temple
I used 3DCoat for sculpting, UVLayout for the uvs, Substance Painter for textures, and Maya for LODs and to organize game ready models for a modular Unity environment.
I think 3DCoat at the moment is the best software for these type of sculpting. I cover it quite a lot on my channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/DucheLove/videos
But I'm also working on a proper tutorial for 3DCoat + Unreal pipeline for destruction sculpting.
